Cold and Flu

It’s been a week for me that I’m not really feeling better. I had a cold and flu, it’s annoying and disturbing, sometimes it’s on and off, so I still go to work.  But in the moment I felt bad is when I’m on working time, I guess because of the weather and the coldness of my body temperature when I’m out and feel very cold.  It’s really not a good time to work, but sometimes you need to when there is not much enough staff to work as well, some are sick too and worst as mine.

Yesterday, I’m not really well at all but still go to work for a few hours, just to help out. The mall building that was newly built only where we had our seafood shop had a bad incident that happen a day before. Someone or a thief had broken the glass of an optical shop and took all the money and eye glasses inside, what an unfortunate situation. What the security does on that time? Maybe it's not 24 hours seurity maintenance.  I bet they were on liability insurance for small business  so no need for the owner to freak out, but still a little worry for the occurrence is no good. 

I'm sometimes interested to hear some current events or happening, it makes me aware what’s going on in the environment and society.

Winery Tour

It's  Queens Birthday today, of course it's public holiday, if it's not I think Im at work today. It's a fantastic day to sit back and relax. I thought I would stay in bed all day to have a good rest and restore more energy to my body that’s been working too hard last week. Or treat myself in to a seaweed detox bath but not I only had soaked myself in a long bath ever.

Today, my friend and I went to the winery festival at Mclaren Vale, I’m glad to have experienced it, although I’m not really a fun of wine I don't mind to experience the festival and I'm very interested to visit the place and have a look the huge vine yards. I'd enjoyed the winery tour, the fun bit is taking photos of the vine yards and big barrels. 

It's really a beautiful day, I'm happy I've been there with the company of a good friend.

Potted Plants

Yesterday morning I had a wake up call from a friend to remind me that I need to hurry and prepare myself to go out.  I quickly do some chores to tidy up and organize the mess at home before I'll leave the house.  I’ve swept the backyard and even had a quick check on my potted plants if they're alright.  I was not happy looking that the leaves aren’t doing well, doesn't look healthy, I’m not sure what happen so I transfer them on the safe corner where insects can’t harm nor eat the leaves.  I hope they’ll be alright and they're leaves will back to normal again on the new place.

 

I’ve been busy lately at work and with friends which is good, but I had forgotten my plants even the indoor lily plants I’ve had inside the house looks unhealthy too, felt bad for them really.  Today, I’ve bought bigger  pots to transfer them sothat the roots can spread out and they’ll grow back healthy again.  Now, I'm reading about garden tips and browsing about garden supplies and accessories at http://www.simplyplanters.com site I’ve found online. It’s very helpful and it’s nice to learn something new and discover different kinds and decorative accessories in the garden.

New friend

I’ve had a new friend I’ve made from my work place a month ago. We became good friends and chat for a coffee sometimes.  It was his birthday yesterday but the big day was celebrated the weekend before with his family and friends.  He must really have a blast on his big day I guess and I bet he’d received the coolest and cutest 50th birthday gifts   from his family and friends.

Being a new friend, I really don’t know or can't think of what to give to him instead just a funny birthday card and a gift or just a little token for the good friendship we had. Indeed, I’m really thankful for having him as my friend.
