What the girl wants

What things you want to buy  when  going  to the mall for shopping? Interesting question isn’t it? Some maybe likes to shop for clothes, jewelries, accessories, shoes and some likes bargain hunting of any sort of stuff. They  are the most common target of the shoppers and for men were electronics and new gadgets.  Of course shopping is not complete without eating, so sometimes even window shopping only, eating is always first on the list as well.

As for me and most of the friends I knew were like a shoes womens type of person, every time I was in the shop I always stop by on a shoe shop. Eventhough I’m not really buying I just like looking and keep an eye on the prospect shoes that attracts me and go back later on if the budget is ready. I have a few shoes that even I’m not using for a while but still I don’t mind buying another, I know many woman would understand my feelings about this.hehe 

Laughs and giggles

Yesterday, I had a fun chat with my cousin online.  She has a good sense of humor which makes me feel good and I had a good laugh always as we keep exchanging funny replies, I can imagine our facial expressions and giggles in front of the computer. My boredom and sadness on that moment before we started chatting was replaced by a good feeling and smiley face.  We talk a lot of things as it’s been a while we don’t catch each other online due to time difference and her work schedule as well.  We update each others lives, how am I here living in Australia and me asking lots of things what’s new on her side and also gathering news from some of our relatives, friends and occasions that our family always celebrates that when I think of those, it makes me feel home sick if I remember the occasions.

She also told me that my niece is already grown up, becoming talkative and looks taller as if she is taking hgh supplement. The time just flies so fast the last time I saw her she was still little and one day she’ll be taller than me when the time I will see her again, I hope not yet.  hehe

I feel so happy that day as I enjoy the long conversation with my cousin and hearing some updates from my family.

The Story of Faucet

I remember 3 weeks ago, it was weekend when we had a late lunch on one of the pub, it’s our first to dine-in.  Hubby and I just passed by on the area and decided to eat and experience how the food tastes like.  It was like early afternoon, the pub is a bit full of people drinking together for a catch up and hang out with group of friends, they might get drunk early as well.   It’s lovely and delicious food they have on menu and what we had ordered of course so yummy, I’m struggling to finish my meal as I didn’t  know I had ordered a huge meal, but then I have a sweeper of my left over, my hubby. hehe

After eating we stay for a while and watch a live acoustic band.  Later on, I was call for a toilet break, I went and was innocent of the new faucet I've seen in the toilet sink. I've noticed everywhere in public places like shopping center or restaurant they have different types or design of faucet most are common but there are some that isn't, like what I have encountered on the pub toilet, I can’t find the button to run the water hahhaha every side of the sink or connected to the faucet I've pressed, pushed, twist and turn but doesn't work, no water is coming out, I only guess it's broken hahhaha..silly me…in the end, I can’t be bothered to make it work so I left without washing my hands..eeewww But don't worry, when I came back on the table I grab hand sanitizer in my bag. I told my hubby about the faucet in the toilet, I told him to goto men’s toilet to figure out where is the button of the faucet, but he don’t feel like going so never mind. 

Now, I was thinking that faucet must be electronic sensor only, same as what we had on my workplace, we had installed a new electronic faucet. How will I know? It’s my first time to use toilet there.hahahha  

As I'm talking about faucet here, in our kitchen  is not working properly, its making noise when you on,  soon we might replace it I think to a Moen faucets brand. Like this one below an electronic design, I would prefer that because it conserve and save water.

It's a long weekend

It’s a long weekend here in Adelaide. Monday is public holiday in celebration of Adelaide Cup, a horse racing event once every year.  Some people witness the race watching on the arena, some plans to go out of town for a get away. No wonder why I saw some caravans trailers, cars that has curt trailer hitch for their bikes and the free way looks busy for the motorist going towards country drive. Beaches must be crowded and rescuers must be on alert mode this weekend.

It’s a good rest for everyone to catch up some friends or catch up household works like what I did.  Hubby and I were thinking to go to Victor Harbor our favorite country drive or over night holiday destination. Hope we won't get lazy and make it through after lunch.

Treasure Keeper

In the mid-last year, hubby and his eldest brother were called to visit their mum for an important chat in relation of his mum’s sentiments and will incase one day she’ll pass away, so hubby went alone. That night hubby brought home with some interesting stuff in a small box an old family photo album including his photo when he is little, he is very cute, a puppet toy his grandma made which his  mum kept for a long time since they were kids, a few antique silver coins shaped like an oz 50 cents, I'm hoping to search something like a silver bars in a pouch hehe but only mixed silver and gold coins and lastly a document on folder which I don't want to open or read, something confidential I just leave it for my husband only.

Before I had mentioned on previous blog, sometimes when we visit his mum she gave us something that we can benefit or use in our household. If she had sorted out something on her cabinet like some old antiques of kitchen stuff she wants to get rid so instead of giving to charity, she gave to us if ever one day we can use them. I also have interesting stuff she had hanging on the wall still,  a frame of black and white photo of my hubby and his brother lying their tummy down on the grass, I like it he was still a kid around 8 years old looks like a portrait image and it was beautiful.

It’s just amazing how his mum had treasured and kept most stuff  collections or memorable things she value in her life, I still remember when she gave me the hand-made white embroidered hanky  her mother made for her not for daily use but a collection, so I kept them as well.

What A Life!

Another day, another penny.  Guess what where I am now? You can't guess, I was sitting inside the car.hehehe with my netbook which I use to bring at work if I have an hour break time.  But now I work on my both jobs today, I was called to work for 3 hours this morning on the fish shop just to cover break times of other staff. Now, I'm here just transfered on my supermarket job waiting in the car park to clock in on time soon.  

I'm a hardworking? I can be, I can be not...even sometimes I can't be bothered to do some shift because it can be a long hours to me but still I did. I like to help the fish shop company I used to work everyday before. It's my gratitude even I found another job that gives me permanent part-time job still they gave some extra shifts for me to work and work out my availability that suit to me.  So as long as I can and my health is able to work long hours I can help them, same as on the supermarket as long as I'm available, I always have a helping hand. Sometimes I'm confused if supermarket will give me extra hours, I just said" I'll check first on the fish shop job if I was rostered on that day.hehehe what a life really...

It makes me busy and very active on a day to day life.  I encounter many people being a customer service. some were grumpy, bitchy and lucky to meet friendly, patient and kind customer. 

That's the end of my story for now,  just a few minutes I'll start my next job. Hope everyone will have a wonderful and lovely day always.
