My MIL, knowing it’s a hard rubbish day next week, always keep reminding my hubby since last week to get rid of the king bed mattress we are using in the bedroom. It has a long life already and it needs to be replaced to new mattress and look into a modern furniture shop, according to MIL. Eventhough it’s over the life span of more than 20 years, it was still very strong, firm and feels comfortable when we sleep, she advice mattresses should only have a 10 years life as bugs and dust mite are building up like millions, she said. Is it true? We had a couple year’s old queen sized on the spare bedroom but we are comfortable and love the wide king sized mattress. We just don’t know about the life of mattress. Do you?
