Happy Easter to everyone, hope you had a fantastic day today. I can say I had a good one, I’m happy to celebrate the resurrection of Christ with an Easter lunch at home with my MIL. Its pity hubby doesn’t have a big family compare to mine, so only 3 of us celebrates. How I’ve missed so much this kind of occasion and the family gathering we use to have on my family in our country. But still even only 3 of us, all went well we had a lovely lunch and fun conversation together. She brought lemon tart with strawberry toppings for our dessert and it was so yummy compare to the cake we have bought. Hubby chooses the nice looking cake and said to me the ingredients seems to taste nice, but it was so rich in flavour that I can’t eat the whole slice, even MIL says the same, but she was thankful and appreciates our thoughtfulness. As an expert on baking cakes the commercial one or which hubby chose was not her type (lol) as well to me when I first tasted the cake. But it’s not about the food; it’s about our quality time and gathering today.
Anyway, time has passed by and it’s getting dark sooner, MIL says wants to go home so we take her on the car park to say bye. She suddenly notice my car as we are walking on drive way,” asking Romina when you are going to sell your car and get a new one, there are many cheap auto insurance rates I’ve read on paper, hurry up and cars are getting cheaper as well”. I just smile and say as soon as I’m ready… to break the conversation I just kissed her goodbye, thanking her for being with us today and soon she drive home.
