It's not about gift giving

December is the month that everyone were looking forward for the Christmas holidays. Of course most people busy finding what present and fancy stuff to give to their love ones. In different stores you can find some creative design of Christmas products, unique Christmas cards, lots of chocolates, toys and things that really attract the people. I even find hard what present to give to my close friends, hubby and MIL but end the end I got some for them but not to my hubby lol. He’ll have present to me always even not Christmas so he’ll be alright.

Christmas is not only about gift giving, but a time for love, forgiveness and peace and harmony to all mankind. Let’s make everyday as a Christmas day that would be the essence of Christmas.

The joy of Online shopping

This Christmas week despite of being busy in my work place, I was also busy thinking what present to give to my friends and in-laws.  Everywhere I go, the shopping center was heaps of people everywhere in the shops of course the car park is almost as full as always.  The panic buying for the Christmas gift get together of family and friends as the tradition. 

I remember why bother to be in the crowd if I can sit at home and click away I can shop online of many kinds.  It’s very convenient and affordable selling price if you’re very good and patient to browse the things you are looking.  One site online I found is very impressive. They sell overshoes type of footwear; it’s amazing how they have made the product  uniquely and comfy style. It’s more on outdoor sports type of shoes especially good for wet weather like snow because it’s water proof.  It’s nice to give as present for my FIL who loves gardening even it's raining, now I’m thinking about it, I just want to ask what size he was and I’ll decide to buy it. 

That's the joy of shopping online you can discover many kinds of product that you don’t expect to find in the shopping mall.

Merry Christmas To All of You

It’s Christmas Day, the special occasion everyone are awaiting for. Yesterday was the last day of shopping, all are busy up to the last minute preparing and buying gifts for their friends and love ones. Me, as I have counted family here in Adelaide I really don’t worry much, what I worry more is my family in the Philippines. How happy they were gathering altogether as I know my parents are always preparing a festive celebration during Christmas eve. Now, I was thinking of the food my mother prepares for all the family. I miss this kind of occasion way back in my country but then I have a new life here so I must deal with it and be happy.

Today we are going to MIL for a Christmas lunch gathering and exchange gifts with each other. How I wish I can get personalized coffee mugs at Personal Creations, it’s just a wish or maybe I can buy my own online would be fantastic idea. Few more hours to go and we are heading to MIL, I can now imagine the delicious and yummy food she has prepared. The lovely dessert she’s making is one of the best too.

School Family Christmas Party

Last week, my friend invites me to attend the Christmas party of her daughter at school which is like a family gathering. At first when she told me before it’s Thursday which I become excited to go with them because it’s my day off. But when she actually check what’s the exact date of the party on the invitation it’s on Friday, doesn’t sounds good because I'm working night shift and it start around 6pm.  I feel lucky suppose to be invited and join their family bonding as it’s a picnic on the oval field of the school which every family member of the student bring their own picnic mat and foods to share while the event is on going and on the later evening they will play a movie on a big screen just like a dlp lcd projectors so that everyone can see clearly even on a distance. It sounds very fun and an enjoyable event, I would love to witness that kind of enjoyment as I haven’t experienced before, I can say that I have a family here if I'm with them.  It’s been common now a day of a family event like that a picnic in the park while there is some musical bands or a movie to play a great bonding for family and it's very nice of her daughter's school to organize the event especially it's a family celebration.

I hope my friend and her family will have fun and enjoy the gathering.

Dream, it's Free

Recently, I have many things that occupy my mind. I thought of many things I don’t know which comes first, if suddenly I think of something I really try to do or imagine them. Last week, I was thinking of my car condition then in that weekend I told my hubby to visit some car yard just around our suburb. We went to KIA motors and Hyundai on South road.

This week I’d thought of something again looking for a property so every night I try to search for some residential house for rent or how much are the selling price of different types of houses in the market. Last Saturday I was working and there is an open inspection for the house that I was interested online, I ask favor to my hubby to check coz I can't as I'm working, if it’s beautiful or have a nice surroundings but it’s not as what I saw on the photos. Sometimes photos can be deceiving if you’ll see it in your eye in real, I hope next time if there is another inspection visit I can witness myself to wander what’s the settings of the lounge, kitchen and bathroom. It would be nice and it will surprise me to see some kind of Saniflo toilet design, it would be a plus factor to sell a property like that quickly.

That’s what on my mind recently I still have some but I won't mention them, it's secret(wink). It’s not good sometimes to think too much and imagine, makes me crazy.lol I’m just dreaming it’s free, a dream that hopefully one day will come to reality and a reality that will fulfill all my dreams.

It's Summer

Summer was just started, yesterday was so hot around 35 degrees. I had worked the whole day, it's getting busier and busier in the shop for the coming Christmas, it’s like crazy incoming customers were non stop. It’s great though it makes the time goes quicker and I don't notice it's home time. What I don't like is when I finish work and hop on the car everything was so hot especially the stirring wheel it’s burning me when I touch it to start the car.

I got home and had a quick nap from a tiring day, in the evening we had a spin along the beach and city proper. It’s very lively outside lots of people in the beach and pubs all were excited of the summer days. What are more interesting are the outdoor lights in the night time, like Christmas tree lights decoration in the park, some Christmas lights on the neighborhood and some houses that we have passed along our way they are glorious, an amazing beauty and attraction to the motorist they are very admirable.

It’s really nice during Christmas season its more joyful and a lovely time to gather and catch up with family, relatives and friends.

Spa Pedicure

Today was my day off again as it's Thursday, I want to have more sleep though and was planning to wake up noon time but I heard a noise around the house. What was that? It's a garbage truck emptying the bin? No, it's not something else I've heard, it's the FIL was too early to visit the garden when I check what's going on in the backyard, I saw him playing his tools in the shed and fiddling his old band saw blades that was hidden ages ago, I wonder what he is up to he must need I new blade, all I know is he really goog on how to keep himself busy everyday.

I can't go back to sleep anymore, what I did is think of something exciting to do for the day not about work but to escape on stress that's why I shower and preapare to go to shopping mall.  Another treat for myself I just did a spa pedicure for an hour while sitting on a massage chair and was spoiled having foot spa and pedicure, what a nice feeling to have I hope I can do this everyday. I was supposed to meet my friend but it end up telling her next time only because I'm tired wandering around the shop for almost 2 hours after the spa pedicure waiting on her, it's ok to me as I know she try her best to come. Now I'm here at home sitting and having a relaxing mode blogging.

Engagement Ring

It’s a week now; it was November 25 last Thursday when I found out that my engagement solitaire diamond ring was lost in our work place. In our department, we are not allowed to wear jewelries except for wedding band. only. Usually, I don’t wear any when I'm going to work on my permanent shift. Thursday was my day off and I was called to come in that day, too bad I forgot to take it off on my work for an hour I think, I realized I had my ring on my finger so I quickly took off and put on my shirt pocket. I don’t know what had happened on that day maybe it fell off when I got something on my pocket that I don’t notice I just find out when I got home and wash my uniform. I ask most of the staff on the next day but no positive answer on them it’s very disappointing, if a customer found the ring it’s high probability it will not be returned to the service desk. It’s better if it’s lovely roses which are very easy to replace and one click only to order online or run into a shop. But the engagement ring is one of the most valuable and important thing in my life was lost.

It was not insured though, I don’t know about insuring when I heard to my MIL about it, that is what suppose we would do if I know. She just blame my hubby of not insuring on the first place, well things happen for some reason and I don’t know what sign it means on my situation now.
