Vegetable Garden

One of the grown vegetable plant with blooming flowers in the chickens backyard, I knew since then FIL planted some vegetables like spinach, cherry tomato, baby carrots, lettuce but this vegetable photo I can't identify what's the name. I can guess it's a dill flower but not too sure, FIL was here everyday but I forget to ask what it was.  Well, I'm going to find out next time, it's too late now as I'm posting here.

Westfield Marion Shopping Center

Today, we went to Marion Shopping Center for the purpose of a body massage. It was very busy when we’ve got there seeing all the cars in the car park just driving around and around looking for a parking space, same as what we are doing. All the parking lot from upper side to the ground part of the mall was all occupied. Everyone was just watching the people walking as they finish shopping and waiting to leave the car park to drive home. Some  were lucky to get the space, it was ridiculous situation there we've spent half an hour looking for a parking space, even we went down and look for a space again but we really can’t find one, how unlucky. I was annoyed and my hubby becomes impatient, I told him to go back home or find a massage shop somewhere which is not busy. As we drive on the road we found a residential street very close to the mall so we decided to park there. First time to see the crowds on that shopping center for many times I’ve been there, it’s because people are looking forward to shop for Halloween party maybe or I may not sure maybe the time we went was a kind of busy during the weekend.

Anyway, we feel fine at last we got a park after the difficulty of finding one. We went straight to the massage shop to be relaxed on the moment we had in the car park. We inquire on reception desk and amaze to notice the beautiful office décor unique design it's very tidy and well presented, the customer will not get bored waiting even a short while. In just a minute or two we are being served, I had a very relaxing whole body massage for an hour it feels really good and stress free after some of the aches and pains I've felt lately and hubby just had a neck and shoulder massage which is fine to him. After that we had a lovely lunch and decided to go home. And now back home just relaxing, blogging and sharing our moments to all of you.

1. Many of my friends have commented they cannot discuss politics with co-workers, family, friends and others without conflict rearing its ugly head. Do you feel you can talk with your family and friends about this particularly divisive election?
*Some of my family and relatives was involved in politics so for me it's not new to discuss about what's going on, I just like listening to some opinions and views they talk about.

2. Do you know who you're voting for in next week's election? How did you decide?
I don't vote for how many years now, maybe if I'm citizen in Australia I have the right, I'll still make a query if a permanent resident can vote here.

3. What do you think is the most important issue in next Tuesday's election? Who wins? why he wins? something gossiping side of issue.lol

4. Can you go a day without laughing?
I can't, even how problematic I am, when I'm out I can still able to laugh even just tiny bit. Laughter is the best medicine.

5. Do you think that you can chose who you want to love?
Of course, you have your own mind and heart who to love for.

6. Have you ever been on stage? For what?
Yes, when graduate on college or maybe some event on SFC before that we need to be in stage.

7. Would you ever live in a different country? If yes, where?
I still want to live in Philippines, I like the life in my own country.

8. Any plans for Halloween? Not really my hubby was not into it.
I'm planning yesterday to treat myself as I was looking a spa cover while passing by a beauty salon makes me feel to have a foot spa, but today after blogging and prepare myself to go out I'll get a haircut and a body massage to relax because it's a bit sore from long hours work a month ago and just yesterday 7am-10pm, it's a legendary hours, but I did it, I'll invite my hubby if he feels a massage too..

9. The last costume that you wore, what was it and why did you choose it?On halloween, just all black clothes. I can't get any for that party not so prepare that time.

How Old Is Your Body?

In Astrology, it says that my body is just 28 years old, it was 4 years younger than my actual age. Wow, it sounds amazing isn't it? Who wants to get older anyway (lol). As we all know we are all getting older day by day  but it would still be nice to be looking young and be called young not at age but young at heart.  It's good that I'm really taking good care of myself and maintain my diet, if not I'll be getting fat  if I don't control myself eating chocolates, sweets and junk foods, sometimes they are the one that taste yummy and delicious which is tempting to eat but good I don't eat them often. If I eat them regular and start to grow fat I should be taking hgh pills to give me proper diet supplement which is known to be a popular pills to reduce body weight. I hope I wouldn't reach on that stage.

Blogthings: Cheaper Than a Therapist

Wallas Cinema

Last Saturday night watching Les Mesirables movie at Wallas Cinema with PIL was one of the great evening we have spent for the second time on cinema. We had fun and really enjoy the night of the movie concert even my hubby don’t expect he will enjoy and like the movie. But anyway after watching we go home to drop the PIL, while in the car I recall MIL’s mentions something about my face early before the movie start which I don’t pay attention. So I remind her and tell me that my face has some pimple growing or looks different, I said it’s just an itchy feeling from allergy that sometimes I can’t resist to scratch which tend to hurt and cut my sensitive skin. She told me there is something she read on magazine about tea tree oil facial care I suddenly wonder how to use tea tree oil for acne. Very interesting facial care treatment I don’t mind trying if it really works fantastic, sometimes I’m worried of the scratches I did even I know it heals quickly but to prevent from causing pimples or open pores on my face it’s worth trying. I really like my MIL she always concern about my health and appearance even sometimes I think it was sort of criticizing effect to me, but I don’t mind her I know it for my best. I just treat as really my own mother who can say anything to me for my own good.

We almost arrive on PIL house and everyone just said goodnight and we thank PIL for the lovely night and for treating us free a movie tickets. I don’t know when we can watch on cinema again all together hope if there is something interesting they like to watch they will invite us again not for free tickets but for complete bonding of four of us.

Black Leather Shoes

Yesterday after we finish selling recyclable bottle on scrap depot we went to Marion Shopping center for a lunch. We had a sumo salad mix, grilled chicken fillets and special fried rice. After that we had a bit of window shopping to kill an hour time until it’s time for my hubby to drop me to work. I was thinking to buy black leather shoes that is comfortable to wear as my uniform on my new job. I can’t decide what to choose that time so I don’t get a new one instead all I do is browse on some sandals and womens boots that looks gorgeous in different styles and they are on sale hmmm. I’m just looking and my hubby says resist the urge sweetheart as he knows shoe shop is my weakness. Sometimes if we are on shopping mall to get something important he just guides me to walk straight and not stop by on a shoe shop if there is one along the way lol.


After all the sticky beaky on some shops, we stop by on a coffee shop and have an ice coffee with ice cream drink and just watching people passing by. Time is off for our little quality time together and he drops me to work.

A Comfy life

One morning wandering in the backyard I saw a tiny critter in the plant leaf, it's looking pretty cool resting on a comfortable spot of the leaf. First I was thinking not to take photo because I'm scare, they sting when it touches your skin and the hurt stays a while, but then I thought  I'll grab the camera hoping it was on a sleeping mode so here is a quick snap I've took while it's harmless moment.

No more Cravings

A friend of mine has a four children 1 girl and 3 boys, the eldest is the girl who is 12 years old now.  My friend is enjoying surrounded by most boys inside their house playing and sometimes annoyed as they become naughty.  If our group of friends gather together for a catch up, her house was our hang out place as we feel at home being there. Sometimes she will talk to us about her eldest daughter likes to eat a lot especially sweets and some chippies that she can't resist eating which is fattening.  My friend was so worried because she  was over weight compare to her classmates and sometimes my friend hide some food on their house to keep the daughter away from it. But even she hides the goodies still the daughter finds them when she was not at home.  Now her mum is trying to minimize buying some chocolates or the food she's carving to eat always. She told me that her husband by a weight loss supplements for their daughter sothat while she is still young she know how to balance her diet and not become obesse when she's grown up as a lady.  I have'nt visited my friend yet for 2 months I hope when I get to see her and the kids it's all looking good especially the daughter hope her mum will not windge about her cravings but hoping to see the daughter as medium weight less than the last time I saw her..

Busy Mode

This month for me was on a busy mode at work. I arrive home late and wake-up early morning start of my shift and a 10-13 hours long a day for 2 weeks in a row and now for some days only. If you think about it is very tiring and stressful days to work that long, maybe before I was not given more hours for consecutive day and I was not used of the routine of my work shift this month. I don’t mind about the kind of hours I have because I know it’s changeable anytime. But as I kept working everyday I don’t really feel that much tired especially while in the process of working, as being busy makes the hours go quicker and sometimes I don’t feel like I have a long day, but of course after finish work and I arrive home here it comes the feeling of tired and some body aches but great it doesn’t last long anyway I just need to eat properly and make myself healthy while at work sothat I have energy for the long day.

Last weekend when my MIL saw me, she mentioned that I loss a little bit of weight. I jokingly tell her I think it's because of the clothes I wear today (giggle), but nah it's must be of some short hour’s sleep I have on some nights and for working long hours everyday these days, my body is trying to fix the routine I’m having on my present shift at work and I need to get used to it then I'll be backed to my normal weight again. If it’s on my hubby’s case losing weight as what on my situation now that would be the best fat burners for men (hubby) ashe really wants to get rid of his stomach fat that cause of drinking ice coffee milk. He would be looking healthy, manly and handsome man just like when I first saw him. But of course no matter what happen it’s not the physical appearance after all, it’s who he is that matters to me.

Voltaren Cream

Every fortnight of the weekend we visit my MIL or sometimes every weekend if feel like visiting.  We had chat about what’s new to us, I update her about my load of hours from my two jobs that makes me very busy and complain to her that my right arm on shoulder part is hurting as it always does the job unlike on the left arm. She told me to take some muscle pain tablet or a cream to ease the soreness. My hubby does the massage to my arm everynight to lessen the stiffness or soreness which makes me feel better.

So today after work I passed on the chemist to buy voltaren cream as she recommended to me, while browsing the store I saw some of the pills like lipozene, it’s very interesting and encouraging reading the result of the product when you take, it must be a good and effective diet pill. I think it’s not only by taking the pill but also you need to include a daily routine of good exercise and proper eating habit of healthy foods is the best way to have a great result for the body to loss weight.

Permanent Part-time Job

Last week October 8, 2008 was my second year round working on my first job as a casual employee only. There is a time I was given more hours and sometimes less which is not very reliable financially especially if you want to achieve something like buying a house.

After holiday from Philippines last June, I’ve started searching for another job on Accounting and also on retail as customer service. I suppose prefer accounting work but I don’t have luck on my application. Last August unexpectedly I got a call from a company that I’ve applied before and its fortunate I was hired as casual again so now I had two jobs. Since I had two jobs, it's coincidence my first job gave me more hours because there are short of staff on other department. The hours now are like a pouring rain to me, but I know it’s not permanent so I take the opportunity of accepting the hours.

On my second job I was assigned as check-out operator on the counter of volume purchases not on express that has cigar retail for sale because I was not trained yet to sell cigarettes. Before I apply on this supermarket I want to get a permanent job but they can’t give me that moment. Until last week I got an offer of permanent part-time job from deli department and I accept it, but had conflict to my first job. My manager is not happy because it’s not a good timing month until Christmas as it is getting busier and busier in the shop and she needs me. In the end she understands because she knew I can’t have either part-time or full-time job in her company but I still can work some hours with her.

Now I’m hoping for a nice future in my second job and hope all is well adjusting to new team members.

Single to Double

My hubby has been a single man for a long time, for how many years of living alone and never been married. He was used to do whatever he wants, he can stay on computer for long hours; he can spend his money on anything like electronic gadgets that most men likes to buy.

But since he got married with me it’s been a difficult time and adjustment for him because he can't do much especially on spending money for no reason sometimes.  Of course I have my period of adjustment as well as because I came from other country leaning the culture, lifestyle and traditions. Living a single life is really very much different than a married life. My hubby was time to time coping up the life he has before and focus on our married life. He likes electronic gadgets and updating what is new in the market or trying to upgrade his old stuff especially in computers. Sometime he is not telling me what he was planning to buy regarding computer matters, because he know I won’t allow him to buy if it’s not a priority expenses or not really needed. He just tells me when he bought them already which sometimes annoy me, but I just try to understand as long as beneficial to us, like last 3 weeks ago he told me we had a new printer “I said how come what happen to the printer we have” he said we almost run out of ink which is getting expensive, so I just bought a new printer that has free ink in a package deal. I don’t bother on that matter because I know he has a point, so no comment only. He even showed me the receipt (looks like an Epson receipt printer) to prove that he doesn’t spend much on the printer.

I just always told my hubby that we are going to save and be stable financially for the things we plan to invest and only buy the necessary things we need, after all we can buy some luxurious things we want in life. It’s good because he is learning and thinking first before he makes a move of spending money

Daily Habit (Running or Walking)

During my first month as a new resident in Adelaide I observed there are many differences on the lifestyle and traditions compare to the country where I came from. One thing I was really amazed on lifestyles of the people were they are health and body conscious maybe same with ours back home but not so bothered very much especially in fitness or habit of exercising daily. I’ve noticed most men and women, young or old people have their walking, running or gym exercise to physically fit and more energetic which is very good habit to keep on doing.

Everyday as I drive going to work in the morning, even coming back home I’ve seen a few doing their daily routine of running and walking. It's nice to see some sexy tops and bottoms they wear while running like some cute men’s running shorts and some have their mp3 attached in the arms. Doing the routine everyday, a person needs to have self motivation and encouragement. Some were doing that to tone their muscles, loss weight and to be healthy and strong. I wish I can do that kind of habit too, I can be lazy sometimes.

Last week I told my hubby to have a walk around the block as the weather starts warming for summer. It’s our first time to do the walking exercise if it happens, I’m encouraging my hubby to loss his stomach fat. The next day come, when I arrived home my hubby was resting in bed, I pull him to get up to have a walk but get a negative reply because he is tired and feel sore on a long day work, I understand it. He said we will do it tomorrow and it’s a date, sounds good that makes me feel better. But unfortunately tomorrow comes, my second job surprisingly called me to work after I finish on my first job, so I accept the night shift. We miss the date and then we don’t talk about walking again. I hope we can do walking the next week if we both are not busy and early to come home in the afternoon.

Ask and You Shall Receive

Sometimes we get overwhelmed with the details and complexities of our lives. Sometimes we need some help to get untangled, to gain a new perspective. Ask for help. Help may come in human or divine form. It may be seen or unseen. Ask, and ye shall receive.

Some it's feel heavy carrying bad feeling or hatred in our lives or keeping the problems you have within. It's better to get a help of someone especially if you really in need don't know what to do and ask a good friend or professional counselor to listen or give your advice. It will  gives you relief and you feel comfortable that you have an outlet to spontaneously share the concern. It's like me once I've been on a difficult times and I'm not shy to share to people that is close to me it makes lessen the burden I carry and I learn how to overcome the situation.

One thing more if I don't know something I really ask, especially to my hubby I like annoying him buy asking many questions hahaha, because I want to know and learn many with curiusity in my mind. Why like this and like that questions? I don't grow up in his country and don't know much of the lifestyle and tradition.  Also when I want to search something on internet or browse where is the best site to shoe, he helps me look up and find then recommend the site of buy.com whom he loves to buy his online shopping. I was always dependent to him before when I was new, now I become more independent as I learn and cope up with the lifestyle here in Adelaide.

Lily flower I took from the backyard pretty how the shapes formed perfectly like a heart. How beautiful it looks even it has two holes that was damaged by an insect.

1. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?

I more likely a listener rather than much talker.
2. Do you take compliments well?
Yes, it amaze me and makes me proud of myself.

3. Are you judgmental?
Not really, there is saying don't judge a book by it's cover. 

4. Do you think more about the past, present or future?
I think most of the future so I do my best to have better one, stay happy for the present and I like treasuring and reminishing the past especially the unforgetable memories.

7. Do you celebrate Halloween? Explain:
Yes, when I was in the Philippines it's tradition that was thought to us since childhood we went to the cemetery to visit the grave of our relatives and we also celebrate by cooking some delicacy food on halloween day.

9. If you're in a room with two beds, which one do you sleep on?
On the bed that was on the right side. In the bed we sleep I like to position on the right side too where the side table on the corner and I can quickly grab my laptop when I feel like using it.

FIL Honda Civic

Long time ago during our visit to parents in-law house and having mixed conversation of everything. My father in-law tells about his old Honda civic car. He said that is runs very well and always in good condition. He had a great experience driving the car and the airconditioning just working properly even he has it for a quite a long time.

One day he just notices its losing a lot of coolant so he suspects it’s the head gasket. He couldn’t work it immediately until he had topped with water but then he thought if only he could bring it to Los Angeles auto repair to have general check up and experience the fantastic service of the shop. But then because he is not resident of US just on the local Honda auto repair here on our place. Everything was fixed and runs perfectly again with the amazing and quick service of same company.

Company Car

I remember 3 years ago, my hubby had a company car a Kia optima 2004. Their company after the car hits a maximum kilometer they sell it and get a new one. My hubby got interested to buy the car because it still looks new and he was the one who only have driven it for a bit a while and he knows the condition of the car that has a regular maintenance. The company offers him a good price which is a good favor on him, now it’s his spare car because he has still a new company car with a logo printed all over the car's body which he was using everyday to his work and he has the permission for a personal use.

The Kia is like a couple years owned by him but was not insured yet as he told me he never drive always on that car. But then he lately mention to me that he might get an online insurance quotes and compare the cheapest insurance that has a better service and reliable. I was so happy hearing that to him as I’ve reminded him before to get insurance because you don’t know when an accident happen, it’s just a blink of an eye so, much better to have a car insurance. It’s good now he thinks positive and the outcome of uncertainty of life.

God's Message for me Today

"Give yourself permission to be un-busy. Give yourself an hour or a day to simply be. Allow yourself the luxury of a small retreat. Allow your spirit time to be restored. Even God took a day of rest."

On God message today, he seems to know everything about me, he knows that I was so busy this past month working 7 days a week, it's just an opportunity that was given to me to have more hours from work that I used to have not as much before, so I just grabbed the opportunity.  Especially this week I'm like a vegetable, very tired and worn out but still I keep going working too hard  for more than 70 hours can you imagine that long? I'm not kidding, it's really true I can't believe how energetic and have the strength to cope the long hours, but I did. 

Last night my hubby treat me a dinner on a nice restaurant I ate a lot that I'm like a pig that don't eat for a week.  If I had another treat for myself also I would love to buy a wicked tickets on broadway show for my hubby and I, it would be a wonderful treat I will have in my life. And today is my rest day, lucky it's public holiday here I have a bit of long sleep and had a very good rest which is just great. I have time to visit my MIL in the afternoon also a little bit of bonding having coffee and a taste of her pavlova home made cake, I also have a take home of another slice for me and my hubby.  How lovely and kind she was, very yummy with lots of strawberry toppings.

I think it's not only 68% I'm ready to be a parent it is more than 90% in my heart and mind eventhough it's hard to raise the baby spending more time or even sometimes you will off to your work to look after the kid but it's worth the effort and sacrifice, the baby will be just the fruit and a blessing from above that will give pride and joy to your life.  If I'm having one now I would love to buy lots of kids toys and accessories even a wooden swing set would be nice to play and slide when he/she will grow up a little bit bigger. Time will come and one day soon I will be blessed by a lovely and gorgeous blues eyes baby girl or boy, how I wish that day to come.

My only Sister

We are 4 siblings with 2 brothers and only one sister who is my best friend and the one I can share and talk about my problems. We both like sports especially volleyball and table tennis. She can also dance and sing very well not that I can compete with because I’m only trying hard on singing and dancing, sometimes I’m jealous of that but I shouldn’t be. Each of us has given unique talents by God that we can boast to ourselves and mine could be hidden which is not what she has but on some other areas. She is also very intelligent which I don’t have again hahaha I like comparing myself to her. I’m thankful of what I have achieved in my life and that’s all I can be proud of and my family.

After my sister graduate in high school she study BS Nursing on college. Thanks to my cousin who has been there with her to support financially on her studies. She has done very well keeping up her high grades, in her mid-year in college she has requirements to accomplish the job training to duty on hospital to have personal experience. She was required to provide her own medical nursing uniforms, scrub sets and lab white coat in internship. Those are some of the many uniforms needed being a nurse student.

At last after all the hardship and sleepless nights studying the nursing course, she is now a registered nurse. She is a proud of our family now and for some years of working on local hospital, she then decided to quit and look for work overseas. For how many times applying to any recruitment agencies finally she was successfully hired and hopefully this month she’ll be flying out of the country from Philippines to Jeddah, she will be missed by my parents especially my nephew who used to be on her side but well life must go on and she’ll find her on luck on other country as what other people do.

I don't really, they're all great and lovely friends

I can't remember it must be very long time.

Always there anytime to listen and give time to me when I need her, especially a couple months ago when I was so down and depress everyone was just there hanging on me.

I make my friend happy when she had a problem, rather than she stays at home that day she ring me and had we had a chat I told her we will go out to have a coffee and shopping. When we are out she told me she feels better because she unwind, had a laugh and forget worrying of her stress and hair loss.

9. Have your ever been jealous of a friend's S/O?
Sometimes, because they have a successful life but I don't really mind it just a silly thought even you can think of.
