Last year December 2009, I accidentally click a security alert tool knowing it’s not a trouble on my computer. Usually I ask my hubby when some alerts popped-up on my screen, but that morning I can't be bothered to call my hubby because he was in the backyard so I do it myself. I didn’t think it’s a virus so knowing nothing will happen I click ok then unfortunately something is wrong with the screen I can’t move the cursor and the computer freeze. I've tried fixing myself even resetting the power still it’s not working, it was my mistake I risk my computer’s life by not confirming my hubby first. After that I'm running barefoot calling him outside and told what had happened. He tries to fix it by his expertise on trouble shooting but it doesn’t help. It needs re-installing windows and reformatting the program but my notebook don’t have internal dvd player so he suggest that we need to take it to the store where I’ve bought before and have it service, of course with service charge because this kind of problem is not on warranty service. It cost me $90.00 to re-install and reformat the program, if only my hubby has external dvd hard drive we can fix it at home or only if I have a laptop insurance that would not be a hassle and don’t cost anything.
Sometimes, it’s really very wise of thinking something worth keeping especially if we bought something valuable for our self or personal use. I was planning to upgrade my notebook into a 15” laptop because sometimes I can’t appreciate the photos I’ve posted on my blog as the screen is small, sometimes I transfer to the desktop of my hubby just to open the photos if they look beautiful and clear. I’m now thinking to get a laptop insurance that only cost $9.95 per year its very inexpensive offer of the company. They have wide range offer worldwide there some choices which policy will you sign up. Another thing they also offer additional items such as phone, digital camera, ipod, mp3 and other gaming system very interesting.
